An enlargement of the corporate structure takes place, with the Musci family joining as majority shareholder.
NCM opens its brand new Headquarters in Via Vici, 34, in Foligno.
The company expands its horizons, starting a long term partnership with General Electric’s Power division.
NCM leads a network of local companies to establish HTC SpA, “High Technology Center,” investing on special processes to expand the range of available capabilities and provide its customers with fully integrated products.
NCM acquires UNI EN 9100 certification, an indication of the Company’s desire to strengthen its position in the aeronautical field.
NCM receives in London, from GE Oil&Gas at the Global Supplier Meeting, the Award for Lean Innovation for “the ability to evolve and renew itself on a daily basis, distinguishing itself for its ability to anticipate the times, to look beyond its geographic and cultural boundaries, seizing with timing the opportunities̀ offered by the market thanks to the high technological know-how of its employees.“
in April NCM signs a Long Term Agreement with Pratt&Whitney for the supply of F135 engine components and, in September of the same year, inaugurates a new 6,000-square-meter plant, increasing its production capacity to meet the growing needs of the market.
NCM receives the Award for “Overall Partnership in recognition of your support & partnership to General Electric“ from GE Power at the Global Supplier Meeting in Schenectady, NY.
NCM celebrates 30th Anniversary.
NCM’s Board of Directors is opened to members from outside the corporate structure and a new governance model based on the managerialization of corporate management is implemented.
NCM signs a supply contract with Safran Aircraft Engine, the world’s leading aircraft engine manufacturer, for LEAP engine components.
NCM, through a major and complex rebranding activity, completely renews the corporate image as a signal of the renewed manufacturing identity, no longer just numerical controlled manufacturing, but an advanced technology center serving the production of integrated turbomachinery components.
Hence also the new payoff: Technology for Turbomachinery.
After Leonardo Aerostructures and Leonardo Aircraft, NCM becomes a Leonardo Helicopters qualified supplier.
Despite retaining its historic name, the company has over the years significantly transformed its market positioning, going far beyond just precision machining, completing its offer to Customers with a wide range of Special processes.
